My #Bookspin and #Doublespin for March. Both have been on my shelf for a while now. I loved Jamieson‘s Roller Girl and Infidel is the second book in a trilogy.

OK, after 5 long weeks of Ren Faire shenanigans, I am going to finally catch up on my missed book updates and challenges. But first....Here are my Ren faire looks. Garden Gnome, Pirate, Belle, Ursula, Elf Rogue and Faun.
I am so enjoying this series! Mitch has always been a great character, it was great to see more of him, and see him a bit more serious and vulnerable. I absolutely wanted to smack April up side the head a few times though. #ispybingo: sword

March's top book was a tie. Luck is set aboard the Titanic and acknowledges the presence of the few Chinese folks on the doomed voyage. Well Matched is book 3 in a series, featuring a modern-day alpha male who wears a kilt at a summer Renaissance Fair and a love interest about 10 years older than him. Love for the 40 year old! HUZZAH!
Honorable mention to Greek classic Lysistrata that was better than I anticipated.
OMG you guys. I adore this series and I can‘t wait to start the next one. The Faire is something I look forward to every year, so reading it during the off season helps! I love series like this, where a side character from the previous becomes the main character in the next. I was not expecting the twists and turns and it had my attention from the first page. I highly recommend this series! Just enough spice balanced with plenty of sweet!
I couldn't stand April, who was not “well matched” with Mitch! Her negativity about everything, her insta-judgement on everyone, her obesession with what everyone else thought about her, & obliviousness to how her lack of interest/involvement in anything affected her daughter just made me angry. Mitch is by far the highlight of this book, and he deserved to end up with someone awesome, which to me, wasn't April.
It's always nice to return to my favorite fictional Ren faire ☺️ I love these characters and I'm glad we finally got April's story. Mitch is definitely my favorite of all the love interests from this series! He is super caring and genuine and sweet. Plus I love a good fake dating trope
