⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A children's picture book about the true story of Ivan, the gorilla we all got to meet and fall in love with in Applegate's other book, The One and Only Ivan. The illustrations were ok but the story is indeed remarkable how Ivan came to live in a shopping mall in Tacoma Washington.

I read this recently and it is one of my favourite books of 2020 so far.
Eleanor Oliphant is a truly #remarkable character (and that definitely sounds like something she would say!)

This is a #remarkable and fascinating debut that gives us a glimpse of how women in modern day South Korea are navigating their lives. It is a story of “gender inequality and lives ruled by the money of men, of impossible beauty standards and their effect on Korean women.” I highly recommend it.
