Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist | David Levithan, Rachel Cohn

This was one of the rare occasions where Ive watched the movie before I read the book so I already knew what was going to happen, or so I thought. The movie took very few things from the book, probably in an attempt to make it more marketable to younger viewers and stretch a relatively quick read into a crazy and unpredictable adventure. All in all, I liked both.

What can I say about this beautifully written masterpiece? Only that I'm sorry it took me so long to finally get to it but so well worth the wait. Truly one of the best books I've ever read! If you haven't read it yet, please stop what you're doing and pick up this gem of English literature.

Brothers Karamazov | Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky

Very excited to finally tackle one of my top and oldest TBRs. Crime and Punishment is my all time favorite novel and I'm very curious to see if this will be the one to finally surpass it. It will be great to have such a wonderful companion for many weeks to come! :)

Since an old-fashioned matchbook is a plot point in Charmed Life, the first novel in the Chronicles of Chrestomanci, I illustrated that #bookseries with same.
