The DuBois is my February #doublespin and I hope to finish the manifesto anthology soon, too.

This took me forever to read, but I‘m glad I pushed through because it is such an important text and Robinson is so clearly a genius historian and political scientist. It definitely made me rethink a lot about how I move in this world personally and especially politically, and what it truly means to be an accomplice and comrade in the struggle for Black liberation. A must-read for all radicals.

In the spirit of wanting to do better in the new year, my plan is to catalog all these books that I‘ve acquired in 2020, as well as read the ones I haven‘t had a chance to! Bc of covid, I‘ve subscribed to three publishers I love this year, and I‘m definitely stacking the to-read pile 😅📚

Thanks to PM Press, Verso, and Haymarket Books for keeping me inspired with these covers and titles. Can‘t wait to actually go thru these works!
