The story revolves around a 17 year old Viking who sees her brother on the battlefield, fighting against their own clan. A brother who she saw die 5 years before.

Impressed w/ this 1st novel from a debut author & will def be keeping an eye out for more from her! She connects you to all the characters w/ great development & world building. There wasn‘t as much fighting/battles as I anticipated but I loved what it was!! (Continued in comments)

TheBookKeepers I like an author who can make me feel the emotional turmoil of the characters & understand how their personalities work. Young absolutely accomplished this!! One thing I wish this book had but didn‘t, would be a pronunciation guide and break down of the characters/clans/gods in the back or front of the book for easy reference! #thebookkeepers #bookreview #published2018 #yafantasy (edited) 7y
