My first fountain pen that‘s actually meant for writing is HERE!!! Along with this lovely bottle of “Mysterious Blue” ink. This pen has a converter (inside) so I can refill it. I also have some converter fillers that also double as additional converters coming tomorrow that are supposed to prevent any mess. I can‘t wait to write something with this beauty.
I found a pen shop in my new town and holy wow, such wonders. Just in time for Inktober.
I got an E+M mechanical pencil with thick lead and a new dip pen with excellent range of motion.
Not strictly book related but I know you all love some writing/drawing tools as much as I do.

So I‘m a pen junkie. I had to show off my new leather pen holder. Never had a pen holder before but my red Coleto (pictured) was a special present, so I wanted to protect it. Anyways, I know I‘m a nerd but look at that beautiful pen and holder.

I like notebooks, note cards, note paper, post-its, stickers, sticky flags, but what I love is fountain pens and thick writing paper for those few special letters I send a few times a year.

One of my favorite things about summer is being able to do things outside in the evening thanks to it being warm and staying light later. We're gonna assume so, because I need an excuse to show y'all what I thrifted today: a fancy fountain pen! I've wanted one for ages, but they're like $30+ here so I've made do with an old calligraphy pen and a fun plastic thing called a Splendid Pen.
This one was $2. I got it home, googled it, and learned it's called a Carène. It has an MSRP of $366 CAD.
Um. Wow. Best find ever.
