I‘m all in on this series

CatLass007 It is an excellent series. I got a little distracted by your gorgeous Siamese and at first forget to find out what book you were reading. What is your kitty‘s name? (edited) 20h
REPollock @CatLass007 thank you! Her name is Clea. She is a rescue who began hanging around my SiL‘s house looking hungry and scared. She wasn‘t chipped so we adopted her and she is learning that food is no longer scarce and nothing threatening lives here. 19h
CatLass007 Clea is a great name for a cat! She needs her own hashtag. #CleaReads #CleaSupervises #CleaRecommends - something like that, just make up your own.😻 And remember there always is the #CatsOfLitsy tag! 19h

Everyone's favorite construct is back in action and this entry in the series dives even further down the rabbit hole of human emotion and experience through their eyes. While Murderbot may not be or want to be fully human, their pesky cloned human neural tissue still experiences things like trauma, and they've got to learn to deal with it.

This is another absolute delight of a story that left me simultaneously satisfied, but still wanting more!

More Murderbot for my new #audiowalk book. I‘m used to the 3 hour ones — Network Effect is over 12!

Once again, I found myself completely drawn into the world of my favorite socially anxious construct!

This time, Murderbot gets to head up the investigation of an actual murder, and does so with their usual delightfully snarky commentary.

Great pacing, fun characters, and a satisfying ending: overall another all around fun entry to this beloved series!

I am unsure if this is just a US thing but this is very cool. WCK is a fantastic organization, if you have been thinking of getting some Martha Wells this is a great time!

I snuck in a Murderbot 🤖❤️🩶🤍
This one was something of a murder mystery 🫆 & I enjoyed it, but it didn't have quite the same degree of characterisation, and being set in a place we've come to know fairly well, Preservation Station, there was little exploration of strange new worlds. It definitely wasn't bad, it just didn't strike the same chord for me as the previous books. Still a pick, & I'm looking forward to reading the next, & final, book.

AlaMich I like that fingerprint emoji! 2w
Bookwomble @AlaMich It was auto suggested to me when I typed "mystery" ? I liked it, too ? 2w

All Systems Red & Artificial Condition (Murderbot Diaries 1 & 2), by Martha Wells (2017-18)—RE-READS
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Premise: A cyborg designed to be a weapon of mass destruction but who really just wants to ignore the world and watch their shows struggles to adjust to a new life situation.

Review: Murderbot Diaries is one of my favourite series, so when I recently wanted some easy listens on a vacation, I was excited to revisit these novellas. ⬇️

Mattsbookaday And they absolutely hold up. Murderbot is an all-time favourite character and narrative voice, and I love the relationships they cultivate, especially in book two with the friendship (romance?) they develop with a ship‘s AI operating system.

4/5⭐
Murderbot. Filled with fun.
#6 takes us back to novellas. In this one It is going to solve a murder. I still struggle a bit with secondary characters, but love the fast clipping pace and the rye sarcasm. It's just a good quick fun time.
