A past one, but I do them when I'm in the mood😅😉 #Two4Tuesday
Hope that's ok, @TheSpineView 😊!

1. I keep a tentative, very loose TBR list, but pick my next read based on mood entirely. First I browse the list and see if there's one on there I'm in the mood for in this minute. If not, I browse my shelves and mood pick.
2. There's not a set day. Any day I have some time off from work and am in the mood for reading 😉

TheSpineView Any time works. Thanks for playing! 1y

I cannot remember who on Litsy recommend this to me, but thank you. It was delightful. I heard Millie Bobby Brown in my head as the narrator probably because it evokes the spirit and tone of Enola Holmes. This clever novella manages to be both exciting yet light. I will definitely read more volumes. #moodreading Edit: @Jess_Read_This perhaps?

DebinHawaii It sounds charming! Stacking! 1y
Deblovestoread I concur! 📚 1y
Jess_Read_This Yay!! I‘m so glad you loved the series! Vol 7 comes out later this month. 🎉 I‘m so looking forward to it. (edited) 1y

Jess_Read_This Apologies too- I thought I was following you all along! Just rectified that. Litsy is a bit wonky for me now. I can‘t see any photographs 1y
Cuilin @Jess_Read_This No worries, thanks for the recommendation. It was adorable. The whiteout is so upsetting. 😞 1y
Jess_Read_This @Cuilin It‘s fixed and I absolutely love how you‘ve photographed the book! 1y
Cuilin @Jess_Read_This thank you. (I‘m trying to up my photography game here on Litsy) 1y

Perfect example of #moodreading. Not sure why (after years of owning it), I decided I wanted to read this literary bio of Flaubert and his most famous character. And yet, here I am. (Perhaps I'm still in the mood for all things 🇫🇷.)
Considered one of the best examples of literary biography, it is proving an entertaining read so far. Plus, there is something to reading about a different time and realizing many of today's problems are not new.

Leftcoastzen It‘s weird how they call your name sometimes when they have been sitting on the shelves for years. 2y
merelybookish @Leftcoastzen Yes! It's why it's so hard to get rid of a book, even if it's been unread for years. 2y

So near to a full house on #bookspinbingo this month and yet so far…🤣 I was going to push myself to finish as I‘m currently reading a *lot* of books, but decided to chill and go with the flow instead. I do get rather obsessed with ticking off lists and it‘s not doing me any good.

For the same reason, I‘m going to give September‘s bingo a miss and see where #moodreading takes me.

Looking forward to seeing everyone else‘s bingo picks though!

TheAromaofBooks I totally understand the list thing! This month I'm playing around with some different ways to pick my next read so it isn't quite as checklist-oriented!!! 3y
Megabooks Great job! 3y
marleed I get that. I struggle with the control of lists, as well. Some months I toss my Bookspin list after the BS and DS are revealed so that I only have a list of two in order to enjoy mood reading. 3y

rockpools That is a *lot* of books! Have fun with your mood reading 😊 3y
squirrelbrain Thanks for your support @TheAromaofBooks @marleed - lists are great until they‘re not! 3y
BarbaraBB I know what you mean! I have been mood reading in August and loved it. I‘m having a hard time going back to the challenges! 3y
Caroline2 Yes, the commitment to challenges and lists can get a bit much. Reading should be enjoyable and relaxing, if you ask me! Not an obligation. Have fun mood reading! 😎 3y

Working on finishing up these three titles from my January #BookSpinBingo before I finalize my February list ?? (I should probably clarify that "Goodbye Things" was a late, last minute add and I'm not even sure it fits any of my #moodreading freebie spaces but... here we are! ?‍♀️)

Any additional current reads are in that lovely, bright lilac/purple-y color. The tagged title is my January #BookSpin selection.

#2020 #JanuaryReads #ReadingGoals = 10 books

Here's my plan for January.

Now, as is the case with most plans, it's flexible to allow for group reads yet to be announced on Goodreads #IntoTheForest and #ReadWomen as well as to allow for #moodreading and/or library holds coming in sooner than expected.

Not sure if I'll read #ComeTumblingDown as soon as it's in my hands or if I'll save it till February... decisions, decisions. 🤓
