When I read any book based on a diary, I'm always listening for my birthday. On the drive home today I got close. October 6, then 7. I held my breath. No dice. There was a big jump afterward. Does anyone else listen for their own special dates?
thebookmagpie I do this all the time! An inordinate number of books seem to skip over 21 August *huffs* 8y
LitHousewife @thebookmagpie I'm glad I'm not alone. October 8 gets very little love. We need to write our own diaries and make sure our days are well represented. 😊 8y
Sydsavvy I have never even thought of doing that! LOL 🎂🎂🎂 Now I will. 😊 8y

BookMusings My birthday is the day Hitler killed himself! Yasss! 8y
LitHousewife @BookMusings That day must be in so many WWII books! Mine is the 100th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire. Unfortunately, I've read 0 books about it. 😂 8y
Lola No one ever writes about the Ides of October. Hmph! 8y
LitHousewife @Lola Darn it! Truly someone needs to right a book about the misfit birthdays. 8y
BookMusings @LitHousewife I should clarify, not the same year. Just the day- May 7th :) yes it's in lots of books as a very good day! 8y
Lola @LitHousewife I did take a screenshot when my Litfluenece matched my birthday :) #litsygeek 8y
