After starting & stalling on this physical one, I decided to try it as an audio🎧📖 Worked like a charm! So happy that I‘m able to go beyond non-fiction in audiobook format🤗

A great legal thriller, as I‘d hoped🤞🏻😅 I‘ve been collecting ‘Grisham‘ for years!🤗 I‘ll be reading in publication order. What I don‘t own, I‘ll get on loan. Let the journey begin😝📚🎧

This was an action packed novel. A family of four are murdered in their home. The characters: Russian mobsters, police, lawyers, prosecutors, teachers and others were introduced. Many people had potential motives for murder. Sex and drugs were included as the chapters unfolded. 4/5

4 ⭐. I felt like reading something with southern charm and atmosphere....even though it was full of crime.

This novels focus was on piracy in the music industry. The characters were self centered and not particularly like-able. The deaths and the abuses of the corpses were staged to try to intimidate those who were stealing music through illegal methods.
This was my first time reading a book by James Grippando, it won‘t be my last. 4/5

Entertaining enough summer book. I hadn‘t read the other books in this series. A good beach read or a painting a room kind of audiobook. Red herrings to make it interesting and seeds planted for the next book in the series. 3/5 stars
