@Mandigolightly as per your 1st Read of the Year, I also give thought to Last Read. This year I read Phryne series; saved this for my last read of the year. Beautifully illustrated. Phryne's independence & fashion are my favorite things. Plenty of that in these short stories. Loved pictures her shoes and cocktails! Also includes recipes. I'm gonna miss Phyrne. Hopefully one day Kerry Greenwood writes more of her adventures. #lastreadoftheyear 😿

These are the books l'll be reading today and that will cross over to 2018 with me.
A Tolkien book and a book l loved as a kid. A new story l've never read and a story l consumed as a kid but haven't read for years and years.

Well, I don't know what my #lastreadoftheyear will be as I still have a bit before the end of 2017. But America's First Daughter is my current audio book and it is looooooong. It will probably be the last book I finish this year, not including all my Christmas romances.

I suspect my #lastreadoftheyear will be in this box! The husband and I are spending Christmas in a quiet cabin in North Georgia and I hope to read, eat, read, drink, read, sleep...you get the idea. @emtobiasz

Reading Portrait of a Murderer with @Tamra (and anyone else who would like to join!) and I hope to start tomorrow. Kassandra and the Wolf is to complete my #LitsyAtoZ. The Christie is for #agathachristieclub and I hope to fit in Sugarbread for #readaroundtheworld Singapore since I skipped Syria. Will I actually be able to read all four? I will stay tuned to find out 😂😂
