pickIn April as we were exiting the GC station in NYC, I read the plaque dedicated to Jackie Kennedy Onassis for the work she and her army of supporters did to save it from demolition in the early 1990s. Otherwise I wouldn‘t have known about these books

pickI listened to this audiobook on the drive home from Biltmore, so obviously I‘m the target audience. It was probably a little more detailed than I needed, but it was still a nice compliment to my trip.

Today I took my parents to visit The Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC and they had a special exhibit of costumes from many bookish films based on books that were favorites of the Vanderbilt family. Look what we found in the Library❣️
My local library, the Solvay Village library. Its just a few blocks from my house. I actually really love the building, it was built in 1903 that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
