This book was magic and my favourite so far by Choo. I read this slowly and am so sad it's over. The setting wad a character in itself and I loved how the two story lines weaved together. This will definitely be one of my favourite reads of 2024 and a book I will think about for a long time. Beautiful and perfect! #highlyrecommend

LeeRHarry Good to hear! It‘s definitely on my radar. 😊 10mo

An absolute favorite. It was a little bit of everything I want from a mystery book. So well done and so interesting. This book stuck with with me for weeks and I enjoyed every chapter. I found this before The Girl on The Train and would recommend this one first. #highlyrecommend #mystery #murder #murdermystery #mysteryrecommendation #pageturner

Into Iraq | Michael Palin

Michael Palin is my absolute favorite travel writer. Great insights, interesting photos, and I learned some things. Such as did you know there's Marsh Arabs that travel in canoes and live in Reed huts? I always love learning a bit more about our amazing world. #highlyrecommend

So good and addictive! I loved everything about this trilogy. The prison setting is amazing. All of the characters are unique, and I couldn't help but love them and wish they were my friends. The relationship between Kiva and Jaren had me as invested as anything that Maas writes. I can understand why these authors are friends. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next! #highlyrecommend #serieslove2023 #readyourtbr

This was fantastic! I cannot recommend it strongly enough. I learned so much, and I'd like to get a physical copy now to read because there's so much fascinating information. The final chapter alone should be required reading. #highlyrecommend #mustread

This trilogy is fantastic! I try my best to take my time with these books because I just want to stay in the world. The plot makes it feel like the almost 700 pages that it is could never be enough. The writing is fantastic and crisp with well developed character arcs. Les Mis in space! Such a great original retelling. #booked2023 #Serieslove2023 #Readyourtbr #highlyrecommend

The Tears of Dark Water | Corban Addison

This book perfectly shows the importance of hearing both sides of a story. The book is about a father and son taken by pirates off the coast of Somalia. Not only do you get the perspective of the hostage but of the hostage taker and other people who are affected by the actions. This is a book of survival, one that shows that there aren't really villains, just victims doing their best to protect their families.
