Amiable @dabbe As a native New Englander, I‘ve lived my whole life around people who are waiting to retire so they can move to Florida. I hate Florida. (Sorry, any Floridians! 😬) When I say I would never move there because of the politics, I get “but the weather‘s better!” (Debatable, IMO.) I would honestly rather live with blizzards in my blue state than beaches in a red one. I will die on that (snow-covered) hill. 😄 2d

dabbe @Amiable I keep hoping I'll talk Matt into moving to Flagstaff, which is 2 hours north of here, in the pine country, where the weather is 15+ degrees cooler year-round. Plus, it and Tucson are our most democratic areas of the state. They're what has made us purple instead of red. 👊🏻💜👊🏻 1d
Amiable @dabbe A friend of mine lives in Glendale and she also sings the praises of Flagstaff. 😍 I didn‘t know that about Tucson! My youngest son was being recruited for a job in Tucson but decided not to accept the offer. He was concerned about the water/drought issues in the southwest and also the political situation in AZ. I‘m not sure if he knew Tucson is blue. 15h
