Betsy-Tacy | Maud Hart Lovelace

#goodreadsrecommendations is insisting that my books are extremely similar to Betsy-Tacy. I must say Betsy-Tacy is looking more and more like a very interesting book. Maybe I should add it to my reading list? 🤔
#goodreads

BarbaraJean Macbeth and Betsy-Tacy—a complete natural pairing. 🤣 6y
Gezemice @BarbaraJean That was the first time, and I thought it was a fluke. But Saga, too? 🤔😂 6y
Blaire Totally odd pairing...that said Betsy-Tacy is wonderful! 😍🤣😍 6y
Gezemice @Blaire Sounds like it is! 6y
rubyslippersreads What @Blaire said. 😄 6y

Xingu | Edith Wharton

#goodreads just keeps on giving! In case you are wondering, Xingu is a humorous short story about book club ladies hosting a lunch party in the early 1900s.

How savage of them!

Another excellent one from #goodreadsrecommendations .
Big Mushy Happy Lump clearly calls for hate-filled and relentless hauntings. 🙄

merelybookish Hunh? 😮 6y
Gezemice @merelybookish I started a tag with these. Me thinks it is going to be entertaining. 6y

candority 😂 these always crack me up! 6y
Gezemice @DGRachel @candority Well, if it isn‘t useful, at least its entertaining. 😁 6y
KathyWheeler Ok — I LOVE Locke & Key, but that‘s an insane recommendation given what it‘s based on. They‘re both illustrated? That‘s about the only thing they have in common! 6y
julesG 😂😂😂 6y
RohitSawant 🤣🤣 6y
Gezemice @KathyWheeler I don‘t think there is any common theme here... look at my first one in the tag. 6y
Gezemice @julesG @rohit-sawant Now that I started, I keep finding more! 😂 6y
Linsy 😂😂😂 6y
Gezemice @Linsy I know, right? 6y

GingerAntics Who doesn't put those two together? ROTFL 6y
Kimberlone The Goodreads recommendations feature has never been very good 6y

Sace It's almost scary how bad that feature is. 6y
Smrloomis 😂 6y
MicheleinPhilly It recommended 50 Shades of Gray after I read Go Set a Watchman. Yeah...no. 6y
Gezemice @GingerAntics @Kimberlone @Lcsmcat @RestlessFickleBookHoarder @Smrloomis @MicheleinPhilly I showed it to my husband. His comment was, “Wow, that must be a pretty intense children‘s book” 😂 6y
GingerAntics ROTFL he has a good point 6y
LeahBergen Whuh?? 😂😂 6y
Crewgurl Ummmmmm 6y
rwmg I think they must be taking their data from LT's Anti-Recommendation feature 6y
Gezemice @rwmg I am not familiar with that one, but I can‘t imagine it could be worse... 6y
rwmg @Gezemice I can't find it now, but it was a list of books you were least likely to want to read based on your library 6y
Gezemice @rwmg Oh. lol. Eh, useful? 🤔 6y
rwmg @Gezemice I actually read a few from the list they produced for me and enjoyed them 6y
Gezemice @rwmg Lol, that‘s funny! I was inspired and signed up for LibraryThing. Imported my books from Goodreads. The recommendations are really good! Amazing, I think I might actually find books I want to read that way! 6y
rwmg @Gezemice 👍 6y
