I'm retired and haven't taught middle school since 2005, so most of my favorite YA literature is from the late 1980s-2000s. Yet ... I first read Sherlock when I was 12 years old and have been hooked ever since. Rereading the entire canon with the #NoPlaceLikeHolmes crew and @Cuilin in 2024-25 makes me again say, I am #foreversherlocked, and so would middle grade kids be .. all over again. 🩶🤍🩶

Another book finished earlier this year, I think August with #NoPlaceLikeHolmes. I bought this in 2017, probably after some Sherlock on TV.

These stories are enjoyable and full of red herrings. And impossible for someone like me

I‘m so glad that @dabbe and @Cuilin organized a buddy read of this, even if I was terrible at participating in the discussions

This book kept me glued to my couch with its complicated & twisty plot.It is set for the most part in the Scottish highlands at a castle & its whiskey distillery, where snow & ice prevailed.Haunting, with glowing ghostly apparitions looming. Holmes & Watson at their most humane best. #SherlockHolmespastiches #Sherlocked
