Found stacks of Folios at Riverby Books in Fredericksburg, VA today. I tried to restrain myself and still ended up with five. Waugh‘s The Loved One, and 4 Trollopes - tagged book, and The American Senator, Phineas Redux, and Lady Anna.

Three new editions for my collection. I ordered these from my favourite second-hand dealer at 1pm on Thursday and they arrived yesterday, now that's service! The titles are the Shooting Party by Anton Chekhov, A Month in the Country by AL Carr and the Owl Service by Alan Garner. The Owl Service is sold out on the FS website but this one was still shrink-wrapped ✊ (belated) #foliofriday

Happy #FolioFriday! My #FolioSociety sale books finally arrived. Being in the US, it takes SO long to get them! I really used self-control (not sure where THAT came from!) and am super happy with these 2 additions to my shelves. I‘d been searching for a nice used Bloody Chamber so this sale was a godsend.

Hello, #FolioFreaks! Arriving on my doorstep today for #FolioFriday is this mint condition set of complete Jane Austen. I love the older editions‘ wood engravings by Joan Hassall and the red binding of this 1975 set just sent my heart aflutter.
So I bought it.
