1️⃣Have the ending spoiled. I think it would drive me crazy not knowing the ending!😜
2️⃣Meet my favourite character. Meeting the author might ruin my opinion of them.🤨
3️⃣Definitely mystery!🕵️
4️⃣I‘d rather experience an historical fiction setting.
5️⃣Skip the first book. This ties into 1️⃣, I‘d hate not knowing the ending!

I finished my #bookspin today. The inspiration for Fiddler on the Roof, I found the Tevye stories better than those that surrounded them. And I didn‘t discover until I was at the end that there was a glossary for the Yiddish words, but most you can pick up from context. Not a five star read, but I‘m not sorry I persevered. @TheAromaofBooks

Ah, the joy of a Monday morning Google rabbit hole.... Today's prompt #poor immediately put "If I Were a Rich Man" from Fiddler on repeat in my head. Watching a couple versions led to the monologues and stories of Sholem Aleichem which were the source material. One of my favourite shops #inkandwonder did a wonder crate full of 12 brand new items. I get all my designed wood bookmarks from this place and I was lucky enough to snag one before they sold out 😍
