I completed all the prompts for #FallingForBooks amongst the 32 books I finished during #Scarathlon. I‘m really pleased with this.

What can I say, I‘m a sucker for books with Death as a narrator. I had a few issues with this one (the fact that the timeline was so short but they spent FOREVER in one house talking about doing things), but I loved that Blake gave all the characters with romances history, so it wasn‘t insta-love. Also the art on the end pages? Gorgeous.

I set my alarm for 6 AM HST to read during the #ScarathlonSprint hosted by @Laughterhp so I wanted to make the most of it. I cruised with a kids Halloween book + 12 shirts stories (6 Halloween based). All together without the reading time, it got me 3381 points for Team #SpookyGhostClub 👻🖤👻

If you like math, you‘ll love this book. I don‘t like math, and I don‘t like paradoxes in my plots. I did like the romance, and the mystery, and the ghosts tho! Finally, an author that will let her FMC be MAD!! I love it.

Wow that was disappointing. Sudden transphobia in the middle there, and the inconsistent chapter timelines hurt my brain. Having read a book on Columbine earlier this year, the last chapter really rubbed me the wrong way.

In other news, I started my move! I‘ll be in Anchorage on Sunday. :)

I loved both of these books. They were both really cute.
In Kitten's First Full Moon, the kitten thinks the moon is a bowl of milk and tries different ways to get to it.
In Strega Nona, good, honest help is hard to find, especially when you have a magic pot that will instantly make pasta 😸

⭐️⭐️ — The atmosphere was great in this book, but it couldn‘t save it from the annoying characters, the EXTREMELY slow start, the clunky dialogue, and the sheer amount of loose ends not tied up in the very rushed finale.
