Die uses the imagery and language of RPGs to explore mental health issues. The story was pretty gripping, but the ultimate payoff was a bit of a letdown.

The only way to escape the world of Die is if the whole team wishes to go home. Just one problem: half of them want to stay in this trauma-inflected fantasy. Gillen's pacing is excellent, as always. Each issue has both substance and suspense.

This nominee for the 2022 Hugo Best Graphic Story award is the 4th and final volume of the Die series. The story, which plays with RPG concepts, is not easy to follow. However, this final volume explains a number of things that had me mystified in the earlier books and provides a satisfactory conclusion.

Wenn die Bücher per Post kommen und dann noch reduziert waren, kommen sie meist direkt in größerer Zahl.
Von allem etwas, was heiteres, dann eine Biographie und endlich #die Clique.
Und einen Klassiker wie #1984, da ich zuletzt Band 1 und 2 von #1Q84 gelesen habe und auch auf dieses Buch verwiesen wurde. 📚🔖
