After 4 hours in the African American museum, we walked to the NMNH to see the Sea Monsters exhibit and the rest of the Ocean Hall. I ❤️this museum, now have a new favorite dinosaur (mosasaur), which is technically a giant sea lizard, and learned my lesson about buying books in gift shops. Wednesday was our first full day in D.C. and we started with a walk from the Hay Adams Hotel, past the White House, to the National Museum of African American History and Culture. It is an amazing museum - 7 floors of very moving exhibits. #augustofpages #booksandsport #dayfive I thoroughly searched my many, many books and found that not only do I not play sport, I apparently don't read about it either. So the only photo I could come up with, is about a made up sport. Does that count?? Quidditch is such an integral part of the Harry Potter world, it's a character all of its own. If I could play a sport, this would be the one I choose. I'd love to see an Aussie team in the World Cup!
