The grass is so long that it could be concealing any number of cats. I suspect the number to be between 1 and 3.

Books in my room cover every available surface and quite a lot of space that could not be described as a "surface". This is a situation that has not been improved by Waterstones' recent double stamps offer.

julesG You do know that the Weihnachtsgurke isn't really a thing here? I'm from an area of Germany where baubles are made and it is far more likely a (green) fir cone started the (by now lucrative) pickle-craze; my great-grandparents had a green fir cone bauble that must be over 100 years old by now and it might have been mistaken for a pickle. 5mo

Blerdgal_Fenix I got the pickle for my tree — kids are too old but the tradition is so much fun. I got mine from the German market in Chicago. 5mo

Tamra 😂 I love it! My kids are too old for it to take more than 60 seconds to find it. For a few years we‘ve done the naughty or nice draw every evening at dinner starting 12/1. There are 6 “nice” slips of paper in a box of naughties. If you pick a nice = prize. They seem to still enjoy it. 5mo
