pickSo growing up these were my favorite books. I could and did read them over and over. Now my other nephew gets a set of his very own to wear out. I must say these copies have better covers then my old copies did. Louis Sachar will always be classic to me. #ClassicThanksgiving.
@LibrarianRyan put up a #classicthanksgiving challenge so I found a few really old paperbacks and took some shots. I loved this book many years ago. I should reread it as an adult.

I had a teenager in one day looking for Pride and Prejudice. The entire class was given the assignment to read a classic and give an report on what makes it a classic. Over 200 students had this assignment so my traditional classics were all out. She wanted something no one else was going to do, so I convinced her Traditional classics were not going to cut it.
Yesterday everyone's posts of spy novels got me thinking of Classics. (You will see why in my next post). Thanksgiving is such a classic American Holiday I thought I would do a holiday photo challenge. No prizes, just fun and only one topic Classics. Post yours, post one, post 10.
