pickThis was so bananas. Many of the references went over my head, but I think that's because this book was set in the 1950s, but published in 1990, and I read it in 2024 🤣🤣. Anyway, the story was beyond bizarre, but I could not put it down. Highly recommended!

pickBook #15 of 2024: “Death is a Lonely Business” by Ray Bradbury
I enjoyed this one. It‘s got a strong sense of melancholy with a whisper of hope. A good mystery that kept me engaged.
pickDid I get what was going on? No. Did I enjoy it anyway? Yes.
The third part in the trilogy was just as much fun as the other parts. We dig into the world of the old Hollywood and black and withe films. The plot is all over the place, but still fun to read. But I do get why these books are not as famous as other ones by Ray Bradbury. Sometimes they remind me a little of Douglas Adams..

pickEvery story in this book takes you somewhere interesting.
Some of them are hits, some are misses.
His short story collections though are definitely worth the read because there are always a couple of gems.
There's a story in this that's going to be up there with my all-time favourites, "A Story of Love"
I recommend it, even just for that short story.
