Very short (hour-ish) holiday romance audiobook that has a full cast (& they are good too) about two strangers traveling in Italy & trying to get to Paris for Christmas when their train is stopped by snow. It was a great #audioblogging listen the other night. Sweet, charming & another addition to my #LittenListen bingo card (still not sure what squares I‘m using) & another holiday read for #WinterGames2021 #TeamGameSleighers 🎄

I did 2 hours of #audioblogging today writing a roundup post while listening to one of the titles on my October #TBR for all of the Halloween challenges. I‘m enjoying it so far—I like the mix of witches, spells & of course wine. 🍷Using it to catch up on the photo challenge as the cover is #black and I found a picture of a vineyard at #night

StayCurious Way to multitask! Great job! 3y

I wasn‘t feeling like making soup today so instead of #audiosouping I did some #audioblogging & just did a roundup of 8 fruit soups for summer. Some are sweet, some are savory. There‘s a link in comments below to the post with the recipe links.

I think this audiobook popped up in the Audible Plus catalogue that comes with membership so I started listening to it the other day. I‘m only about 90 minutes in but so far it‘s keeping my attention.

Chrissyreadit Do you have favorites? I was just thinking about making a plum soup. It was common in my Polish friends homes, and I need to look it up. 3y
DebinHawaii @Chrissyreadit Plum soup sounds delicious. I really liked the Watermelon & Summer Berry & the Cold Cherry Lemon, although all of these were good! 3y
Chrissyreadit @DebinHawaii Im going to print and save. I love soup so much! 3y

Today‘s #audiosouping pick because I was in the mood for something more stirring than Tori Amos & because I want to finally read/listen to this one & it‘s on my #NewYearWhoDis list from @ladyneverwhere 🤗

This simple vegetable mini wonton soup is pretty quick to make & so I am also #audioblogging to it to draw out Bahni Turpin‘s narration & Ijeoma Oluo‘s wise words. Finished soup pic coming later.

DebinHawaii @Chrissyreadit Hah! I love her & her messages are stirring but her voice narration & vibe in the audiobook were too mellow for my mood today. 😉 4y

I finished Eleanor today, #audiosouping & #audioblogging & ended up really enjoying it. It made me smile & tear up & some of the lessons Eleanor learned about friendship, kindness, not judging others...are lessons the world needs more of. The narration (by Cathleen McCarron) was excellent. Today‘s soup is another Jamie Oliver 5 Ingredient: Quick & Easy recipe (basmati rice, scallions, curry paste, coconut milk, shrimp). Finished soup pics later.🍲

PatriciaU I loved this book. It helped me to see the world in a different way, through Eleanor‘s eyes. 5y
DebinHawaii @PatriciaU Yes, exactly! 🤗 5y
