It felt like it was devoid of the details and insights that #fredrikbackman usually wrote about in all his other works, including his other novella, #andeverymorningthewayhomegetslongerandlonger. Like how did he affect the female characters in his lifetime? I think it might have been more impactful if these stories were expounded a bit more. As a stand-alone piece, it was all right, though not at par with the others. #thedealofalifetime

Despite its brevity, #fredrikbackman was able to deliver a piece that accurately portrayed the last lucid thoughts of an old man desperately hanging on to his precious memories, and how his family is standing by him through his battle with Alzheimer‘s. Beautiful, sad, and touching, it‘s a must-read. #andeverymorningthewayhomegetslongerandlonger

When I think about feel good/ comfort type books, I think of books written by #FredrikBackman. I loved both his novella #AndEveryMorningTheWayHomeGetsLongerAndLonger and #AManCalledOve. The three remaining books are on my #TBR list, but I'm sure I'm will love them too.

This novella is so beautiful inside and out. If you like Backman's other works (which I'm in love with) you'll like this too. His writing is magical to me.
