I usually don't like it when authors seem to have swallowed a thesaurus, but it kind of works here—probably because Moore actually knows what the words he's using mean.
Very interesting book. I did struggle with reading it on its own without constantly comparing it to the movie. However, it was interesting to see the similarities and differences. Overall, I did like the book, and found it to be thought provoking.
I borrowed this from my local library today. I normally don't read graphic novels, but I figured I'd give it a try. I've seen the movie, so I'm curious how it will compare.
I love the movie and it's taken me this long to read the comic. Both have their pros and cons - I wish the movie could've fleshed out the minority focus more, I wish the comic had more Gordon (Stephen Fry) but both are brilliant.
Packed it in on page 7 when “The bellowing meat locomotive throws its weight into the wall of constables, with as much blood as possible its only politics” was a sentence my brain had to take in.
I didn't care for it. It was confusing and way over my head with the dialogue throughout the book.

Can you believe it?? Next weekend will kick off the last 10 weeks of the year.
I will be doing a readathon for 10 Before The End!!
Pick the 10 books you have been meaning to get to all year - or the ten you want to prioritize before the end of the year.
Post your list this week, and get encouragement along the way. Let's tackle those TBRs!
