Despite the title, I probably won‘t remember much of this one. I liked that the sisters were in their 30‘s/40‘s and I can see how others would like it, but it just dragged for me. 🎧

At the airport waiting to fly home and I've been alternating between the tagged book and the audiobook of Dickens's A Christmas Carol. #CozyChristmas
I wanted to decorate for Christmas today, but an “end of semester, immune system goes on vacation” cold laid me out instead. 🥲 At least I had this waiting for me on my Kindle! Jenny Bayliss is an auto-read author for me - I just have to read her holiday novels one year behind so I can get them through the library! 😂
It‘s been a wonderful solstice. A long walk along the river in the snowy woods and reading the tagged book by the light of the Christmas tree. It‘s a book we will come back to. Thanks @TheBookHippie for the great lists of recommendations!
Happy Solstice! Blessed Yule! This day reminds me to take a deep breath, enjoy the light and feel some hope in the chaos around me. I love slipping away from the commercial world to have moments of focus back on nature. I will have wassail and a fire tonight , my family tradition for 9 years- and Brynne is home to make the wassail!!! 🕯️🤍🕯️I hope all of you experience some calm too💙(tagging some who celebrate but wishing for everyone)
Todays #midwintersolace #Fridaynightshare is a book about or including Solstice/Equinox fiction or non fiction- I‘m always excited to see fiction books people find with solstice! So i‘m looking forward to seeing shared posts 🕯️
