I didn‘t get to the Old Trickster last week but am reading it now. I also started the tagged book and am loving it. The third one is by a favorite Dutch writer.

I am already a few pages into each of these. I wasn't too interested in Uncommon Stars beginning then 20 pages in we meet donut shop aliens and now I am all in 😍
Thunderclap is a Women's Prize long list for non-fiction I am struggling with it, but the book is very pretty great quality pages and photos of the paintings she talks about - recommend the physical book if it is on your list.

My goal this week is to try and finish Black Cake as I need to read it for work. I also want to try and get closer to finishing part 2 of the tagged but it's hard knowing there are two more instances of animal abuse I have to get through.

I started off strong last week, completing a few books and continuing with various #buddyread selections. Some books had to go back to the library, so are on pause.
This week, I anticipate completing a couple #buddyread titles and also going through my library book stack - my eyes are way bigger than my belly #somanybookssolittletime .
My IRL book club meets this week too, so I must start that book.

I wasn‘t a very productive reader this week. I only finished one audiobook. I barely made progress on any of my already in progress books and didn‘t even start my one #BookedInTime from last week. Even worse, the next book for book club has been chosen so now I have *two* up next books. #SlowReaderProblems.

I am about half into Cain and I Was A Teenage Slasher, both quick reads. At 1/3 on The Future which is also a lot about religion which I wasn't prepared for, that is going a bit slower. Hoping to wrap a couple up and start on Light From Uncommon Stars in a couple of days.
