The Vampire Lestat. One of my favorite anti-heroes of all time! Isn't this cover lovely? This book is on my TBR for #HalloweenHorror and what's turning out to be #Vampiretober. Can't wait! #antiheroes #antihero #octphotochallenge

BookwormBeth I just finished her latest one Prince Lestat just in time for the new one to come out in November. It was great! 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @BookwormBeth Glad to know! I need to read it soon too! 🕸😈 8y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookwormBeth is it necessary to read Interview with a vampire before reading this if one has seen the film? 8y

Dragon So agree 👍 8y
BookwormBeth @JanuarieTimewalker13 No not really I'll be honest I didn't care as much for The Vampire Lestat as I did Interview With A Vampire & Queen Of The Damned it wasn't bad or anything just not my favorite of the chronicles but I think if you've seen the movie you don't need to read it first but it's great :) 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @JanuarieTimewalker13 @BookwormBeth There is a wiki for Anne Rice books that you refer to also. I use it when I've forgotten details from previous books. 8y
Bookworm54 I love lestat :) 8y
BookwormBeth @BarbaraTheBibliophage funny you mention that Prince Lestat has an appendix in the back that has all the characters & some details like who their maker is and so forth it came in handy was really interesting 8y
BookwormBeth @Bookworm54 don't we all lol 😍 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @BookwormBeth Wow - that's pretty fantastic! 8y
BookwormBeth @BarbaraTheBibliophage yeah it was nice to have for reference there's a lot of characters in Prince Lestat it's soooo good. It also had all the Vampire Chronicles listed in order which I thought was nice 8y
