1. Like Eggs mentioned, if its your own book, do as you wish. I don't dog ear, write in them, or break the spines if I can help it. I'm not opposed to using a thrifted or inadvertently ruined book for crafts, either.
2. As long as it's done well, I enjoy an animal narrator.

1. Depends. If I don‘t like it, I donate, unless it‘s a gift. I often buy physical copies if I enjoyed the ebook or want to own it as a part of my library.
