KCorter @Moray_Reads The poster is perfect! I love it too! This may be considered sacrilege, but the first book was my least favorite. It is obviously necessary, but the tone was so different from the rest of the series. Keep reading! The Dark Tower deserves every bit of acclaim as a fantasy classic. 8y

KCorter @hlgreenfield I think that having read the first one will give you enough context for the movie. But don't let that stop you! The Dark Tower is fantastic! It looks like the order of events will be a bit mixed up to make the story more cinematic. Though the more you read of the books, you'll see that actually kind of works with the way Stephen King developed the story. 8y
