I'm in a horrible #readingslump. This month is not starting off well 😩.

Yard sale, day two: despite predictions of lovely weather, a sudden downpour ruined about half the books I was planning to sell. I have clearly provoked the ire of the literary gods. I will spend the rest of the day reading in penitence. #24in48

Well, all this time I was so excited to go to the actual Folio Society bookstore. I saved room in one of my suitcases for the books I was going to purchase! Today, we went all the way across the city, in the rain, trudging for my gold at the end of the rainbow. No luck- they closed down the store & are online only now. The address was for their offices. And this montage is what my face did when I heard. The four stages of book grief, as it were.
