I have a friend who is very interested in this #pirate as her family comes from Ireland. I'd never heard of her before meeting my friend, so her interest was my first thought for #sizzlinsummerreads @Tiffy_Reads

PirateJenny Fantastic book and a hell of a woman! Who we wouldn't know about if rhe English didn't keep great records. The Irish had wiped her from their history because she was so scandalous 7y

I remember the first time I heard about Christmas in July. I was vacationing with a friend "down the shore" as us folks from Jersey tend to say. Her family had a summer trailer and everyone would decorate as if it was really Christmas, lights and everything. They even held contests. This book isn't the only Christmas title I own, but it does fit the challenge the best. #christmas #sizzlinsummerreads

The Eyre Affair: A Novel | Jasper Fforde

These may not look like #travel books to you, but to me they are.

The Eyre Affair is Alice Springs, down an alley off Todd Mall and up a flight of stairs to a small but well stocked used bookstore and my introduction to Fforde.

My Life as a Fake is a hot summer in London, wandering and wondering what to do with myself, finding myself in front of Foyles and suddenly having plans for the afternoon!
