Care tasks are morally neutral. Being good or bad at them has nothing to do with being a good person, parent, man, woman, spouse, friend. Literally nothing. You are not a failure because you can‘t keep up with laundry. Laundry is morally neutral.
My joys:
1. Finished “Enchantment” - tagged. Such exquisite writing and a beautiful reminder to notice wonder in your every day.
2. I got a new job! I‘ve been working as a marketing copywriter for 15 years - most recently at John Deere. I recently go head hunted by Bobcat and cannot wait to start! Gonna be amazing.
3. The sun this morning!
4. Made pasta!
5. Watched “No Taste Like Home with Antoni Porowski” - highly recommend!

I could have learned more from a good Google🔎. The same canned advice as found everywhere🙄 Nothing particularly enlightening.
This book expresses everything I‘ve been feeling lately. About finding wonder, whimsy, and magic in everyday life. Highly recommend.
I don‘t usually seek out self help books, but this book helped me to start unpacking my belief that clean house = good person. It‘s not nearly that simple or easy.
Unraveling where I learned that also helped start me on a self examination journey that, I hope, has made me a better person.
#SundayFunday Have a wonderful day, and don‘t forget to tag me.
