I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!) Feel free to join in!

Read some of this book today, so I‘m at 1.5 books so far this weekend, and then went for a lovely sunset hike! #Sedona #bfc #bookfitnesschallenge

In March a friend & I will be going on a little vacation to Arizona. We‘ll be in Phoenix for a bit, then in Sedona for the most part. I was wondering which wonderful Littens live in Arizona & if any of you can recommend any cool places or things to do. I love kitschy weird stuff. Also if anyone is actually in those immediate areas maybe we could actually meet up. Let me know! #sedona #arizona #r&r #finallysomefun #firstrealvacationinforever

Kaye Have a wonderful time. 6y
NatalieR I took the same vacation in September! Sedona is fabulous!! Lots of great shops and hiking. I recommend visiting the vortexes;Bell Rock is my favorite. All of the locals are friendly and happy to make recommendations. Have a great trip! 6y
Peddler410 Take a Pink Jeep tour in Sedona. You won‘t regret it! And stop by Hole-in-Rock 😊 6y

ReadingRover @kaye Thanks! @NatalieR i was looking into the vortex tours. I‘ll check out Bell Rock. @Peddler410 I‘m totally doing the Pink Jeep tour. You‘re the second person to recommend it. And I will definitely check out Hole-In-Rock! 6y
ReadingRover @kaye This will be my first vacation in at least 5 years that‘s longer than 2 nights and doesn‘t involve some type of work involved. I‘m so excited! 6y
monalyisha Ah! I just went to Arizona with my husband! One of the best things we did was kayaking in Mesa on the river & taking in SO MUCH nature — especially the wild horses! I‘ll find the link & leave it for you! 6y
ReadingRover @monalyisha That‘s awesome! Thanks so much. Kayaking is on our list so that would be great. I really appreciate it. 6y
monalyisha Also, check out Flagstaff (especially if you like stars & beer). Our favorite was Dark Sky Brewing Co. 6y
monalyisha And if you need any AirBnB recs, we stayed at a couple of gems. 6y
ReadingRover @monalyisha Airbnb refs would be great. And I love the dark sky stuff. We‘re going on a tour in Sedona. 6y
monalyisha This place is in Prescott. There‘s not much around it but it‘s worth staying just to enjoy their space (& art, & beautiful pool, & homemade scones!). We stayed for one night & wish we stayed for more. https://abnb.me/Al0ESoZAvT 6y
monalyisha This one‘s in Flagstaff. You have to drive a little bit to get into town (not far, though). There‘s a hot tub, the bed is comfy, & the host is SUPER chill. https://abnb.me/0Omr0alCvT 6y
monalyisha Where we stayed in Phoenix. The bed‘s not *that* comfortable (it‘s okay) but it‘s a lot of fun if you‘re into music! There‘s a fairly extensive record collection available for your use: https://abnb.me/dqJJiZrCvT 6y
monalyisha Have fun!!! 6y
monalyisha Also... BEWARE OF SPIDERS. I don‘t even want to talk about the size of the buggers I encountered. 💀 6y
ReadingRover @monalyisha OMG thank you so much for all your suggestions and help!!! This is great!!! 6y
ReadingRover @monalyisha 😂 I‘m ok with spiders as long as they don‘t sneak up on me 😝 6y
Avanders So fun!! (Yes Sedona is gorgeous) 6y
ferskner I'm from Arizona! Sadly, I've only been to Sedona once, but Prescott and Jerome are both old mining towns that have turned into little art colonies. They're great! In Phoenix, I'd recommend a hike in Papago Park (it's where Hole in the Rock is), or going up South Mountain at dusk to see the entire Valley light up. Scottsdale has a bookstore called the Poisoned Pen, my home of Tempe has Changing Hands, and Mesa has Bookman's. All three are AWESOME. 6y
ferskner I think a lot of weird older stuff in Phoenix has been torn down, unfortunately, but I'll try to think of some interesting corners that might still exist. I haven't lived there in 12 years though, so I'm not sure what will still be around. I'll give it some thought! 6y
ReadingRover @ferskner Awesome thanks!!! I think we‘re going to check out Jerome one day. There are a lot of haunted tours and stuff like that there. I‘ll definitely check out the bookstores! I‘m super excited for the night sky 🌌 over that way!!! I booked us a stargazer tour. I can‘t wait to see the world sans light pollution 😝 I‘ve been crazy obsessed with astronomy lately! 6y
