I really like this little purple book, and I really love Joyce Meyer 🩷 A Bible verse or two for every problem ( just about, lol) - why not?! 🤷🏽♀️😊 I highly recommend all of her books. She‘s like that sassy aunt or grandmother who tells it like it is but has bible verses- relatable bible verses and the experiences to back them up 😉🩷🫶🏽😊🤗🙏🏽
4✨ This is my first read of this book, and I have to say that it gave me peace many times. If you are familiar with the Holy Bible it has different stories that are based in the America‘s following the same teachings, covenants, and providing hope. I struggled with all the names, and understanding the language. It could be repetitive at times stating the same phrase in many verses. Overall, glad I tried it out.

I loved the premise of this book - learning about the unspoken cultural differences between Western culture (where I live & read the Bible) and Eastern culture (where the Bible was actually written), and I thought the authors put the information together in a way that was relatable & informative without being condescending.
I enjoy approaching my faith intellectually instead of only emotionally, and this helped me do that.
The book of psalms, written by King David. Written in a format of song lyrics and poetic telling of the Lord our God, singing in hymns and praises as he shows his prayers to God in forms of songs and poems.
