Loved this! It's set in San Francisco at the time of the 1906 earthquake.
This is my favorite book of Quinn's that I've read (haven't read them all yet) and the first of Chang's that I've read (will be reading more).

The cropping feature on this is horrible! Anyways, Book 6 for 2025, was a book I saw ads for on social media and reading the blurb it peeked my interests. The granddaughter of a convicted serial killer is wrapped in an investigation when new killings resemble the style of her grandfather. Cue in dysfunctional family relationships (marital and familial) and you have a tidy, cozy mystery! 4 ⭐️
Well written ode to parts of the City by the Bay and to its history. Great addition to the many books about it by someone who knows it well.
Also reading another book about the SF bay area.
This was a really good book but is there anything narrated by Marin Ireland that she doesn‘t make better??
This is cute. I mean there's serial killers and stuff. But it's pretty fluffy regardless.

Currently hiding from the rain. Got a book. Found a quiet porch. NBD
This was a fun, almost cozy mystery. The setting of San Francisco is a wonderful and integral part of the story. Capri owns a company that gives city tours about murders that took place there. When someone is murdered in the same manner as those for which her grandfather was convicted, she gets involved. There is also a hint of romance, which leads me to believe this may become a series. The book was an entertaining diversion from real life. 3.5/5
