I found the author to be too self-centered and judgmental to garner my sympathy. She snarks on about the “tourists” who are just after a picture for instagram, yet the hikes she describes taking in those parks I am familiar with are ones we took as a family when my kids were in the single digits - hardly epic hikes. This was my 1st #readyourkindle and I‘m just sorry it‘s not a paperback I can give away. @CBee

DogMomIrene @CBee You are freaking me out! I loved the early Scarpetta, but stopped reading when she changed PoV in her writing. Have they gotten better again? Because I may need to pick this series up again with NK playing KS! 10h

CBee @DogMomIrene honestly I haven‘t continued the series, I read all of the earlier ones but none of the new-ish ones. BUT I will happily watch Nicole Kidman play, I don‘t know, a crazed blowfish or something - as I love her that much 😂😂😂 She could play anything or do anything and I‘d watch it ♥️ (edited) 10h

Here‘s my #readyourkindle list for January. I‘ve had a few months of mood reading and now, I‘m ready to start reading my Netgalley books again. When I was making my Kindle lists in 2024, I always forgot to add Netgalley prompts but this time, I remembered. I‘m also participating in #serieslove2025 so I‘ve chosen 2 series on my Kindle that I want to finish. I also have 2 Kindle Unlimited books on my Kindle that I didn‘t get to in December.
