What the heck happened between book 2 and book 3? I legit almost bailed on this. I don‘t want blissful family life, Freida! I want murder and mayhem, twists and turns! Only the last 1/4 or so redeemed it, but just barely. Big meh. #readyourkindle

OriginalCyn620 There is a short story that‘s supposed to be read between the second and third book. I just read it earlier this month and I hope to get to the third book before the month is up!

If you've ever wondered how you can drive yourself somewhere & yet not remember any of the journey, then this is the book for you. Alongside 40 or so other phenomena such as the Bystander Effect & Confirmation Bias, it also deals with how to spot the fallacies & ad hominems in your own & other people's arguments.

It was an interesting book, around 40 short chapters dealing with aspects of the human psyche & personality. (continued)

OutsmartYourShelf Can't say I agree with all of it, & there was a tendency to deal in absolutes, but it was thought-provoking. It probably works best as a book you can dip in & out of, rather than reading it straight through, as it does start to become samey if you do that.
