tpixie Since many of these are nature words, you may love to see this book. The history behind it is incredible. It‘s a response to the Oxford Junior Dictionary omitting 40 words related to nature and instead adding technical words. The author and illustrator were saddened by the disconnect between children and childhood and nature and wrote the book with beautiful illustrations and poetry.

Citizen Illegal | Jose Olivarez

ICE is in our small town. We usually are pretty isolated, so the community as a whole is confused and scared. Today I'm just sad.

lil1inblue @kspenmoll Thanks. So far, they're patrolling certain neighborhoods and creating an atmosphere of fear. But I'm sure more is coming.
There were some arrests recently in communities closer to the Canadian border (I'm in Michigan's Upper Peninsula).
