Kim Coleman Foote describes this as a biomythography because she draws from family history and in-depth research to place the reader into these family stories. This is a story about family and relationships, and I felt like I got to know all of the characters as they move through life, struggling to make it day to day. But I think what I will take away most from this novel is that the strength of women is like no other.

I read book one years ago. I never got to the rest of the series despite owning them all in ebook. So… I added them to my #Roll100 list and each month I‘ll add another to my #readyourebooks list.
Summer at the Jersey Shore. National Toasted Marshmallow Day. Paint ball attacks on Danny and his friends that quickly turns into real bullets flying.

Excellent as always and this one had all the side characters front and centre. They end up neck deep in murder, bad, good and sexy cops, lovers, her mother, sister, kids and ex-husband, plus adolescents, boss bitches, many bad guys, and a little dog too! It was so full but the author still managed to make it concise. Vero and Finley‘s friendship is as brilliant as ever. Great series! I‘m excited to see what they will get up to in the next one.

Skip this one and read the non-fiction version instead, Michael Capuzzo's "Close to Shore: The Terrifying Shark Attacks of 1916." #2025Book1

#audiostitching (plus bird-, squirrel-, chipmunk- & deer- watching) while listening to this family navigate grief, parenting issues, romantic relationships, work/ life balance, & more. All while dealing with 3 of the 4 siblings winning the powerball.
I ⬇️

bookandbedandtea can see how this family- & all their dramas- could have completely annoyed me on a different day but today I was willing to root for them. It was refreshing to read about a family whose members like each other. (Lottery drama aside 😉) 2mo

3.5 Stars • "Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice" by Elle Cosimano is the fourth book in the Finlay Donovan series. Like the other books in this series it is chock-full of slapstick humor, has a fast-paced plot, and unforgettable characters. ⬇️

suvata The novel continues the adventures of Finlay Donovan and her nanny Vero, featuring a trip to Atlantic City under the guise of a girls' weekend, which is actually a cover for various misadventures including dealing with a loan shark, rescuing a kidnapped friend, and searching for a stolen car. 2mo

I love Ann Naplolitano‘s writing. My first book I read from her was Hello Beautiful. In her stories she includes family tragedy, guilt and large families. Complex rich stories. Her stories are written like a soap opera and I‘m here for it. #prettybookcovers #winterreading

Nobody needs to live alone. You‘re just more comfortable that way. A little discomfort might do you good 🛋️
