Myths can be rewritten. As Wayne learns when a mysterious force begins killing off modern knights. He must work with a Valkyrie, a monster, and a rune smith to stop it.

This was a really interesting twist on Arthurian legend! Urban fantasy & a diverse cast, which I loved. Really loose world building, a too quick romance, & pacing that was all over the place, which I enjoyed less. But once I got to the last 1/4 I was in! 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

Pickpick

Neil Gaiman has taken inspiration from many places for his creative works. This book examines the medieval influences on some of his projects.

Such an insightful book! What we think of as Medieval has changed over the years, and Gaiman‘s use of these different interpretations just makes his own writing better. Makes me want to reread a bunch of Gaiman‘s books, and also seek out the ones I haven‘t encountered yet, like Sandman. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

Hello fellow #NetGalley users! Do you, like me, have an embarrassingly large backlog? Do you need a way to represent accomplishing something for it to mean anything? Me too!

I‘m setting myself a little #Readathon challenge for October and November.

#NetFalley is for anybody else who needs to work on those ARCs. 🖤💜💛
