I‘m an American, but I actually live in the UK - in Northern Ireland. I used to live in England and fell in love with it. I absolutely fell in love with it. I‘ve never been homesick for the USA but have been heartsick and homesick for England.

Shakespeare and Company, Paris: A History of the Rag & Bone Shop of the Heart | Krista Halverson, Jeannette Winterson

I would love to go to France. The food, the wine, the view. More importantly, ever since I heard about Sylvia Beach's Shakespeare and Company bookstore, I've wanted to go to Paris. I flipped through this book today and it's now at the top of my wish list.

scripturient It's the best place. I was a 'tumbleweed' for a while in my early 20s. Best time of my life. You should definitely visit the shop! And to bridge the time, I recommend this book here: 7y

JaclynW @Jas16 You must go see Kylemore Abbey and Cliffs of Moher while out in Galway! They are both breathtaking. Dublin has my ❤! I love that city! It's all so great! The Long Hall at Trinity College is beautiful! So many old books! Marsh's Library is a hidden treasure. I could go on and on! Enjoy your time! I can't wait to hear about your adventures. 😊 7y

Songs of Tuvalu | Gerd Koch

I've been looking for books to read for my #passportlitsy countries and almost got stumped on the first one! I prefer fiction, but I heard tell of Tuvalu, a history (not listed in Litsy) and it intrigued me bc it is written collaboratively by many Tuvaleans (?) and the stories they tell often dip into the mythical, folkloric, and downright supernatural. Tuvalu isn't at the top of my to-visit list, but who wouldn't want to go to a tropical island!
