I‘m having the worst time settling into a book. I start one and then…I just don‘t pick it up again…so going with Morrigan Crow since this one has been on the shelf way too long. I really enjoyed the first book in the series so I‘m hopeful this one will not only grab but also hold my attention. (In fairness to the other books I‘ve started and then sort of left languishing, I must admit I think it‘s me not them…😬😂)

🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 This book was highly recommended to me by a friend. It was a great light read, sweet and heartwarming, with a touch of tragedy and fear.

LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT! Recognizing and accepting queer identity in the face of contentious cultural norms, fleshing out immigrant experience so that while the unique and possibly painful experience of immigration is not ignored, it doesn't try to be a monolith or fall into tropes, doesn't need to form the backbone of the story, interweaving fairy tales, 1/?

Here are my #CampLitsy25 picks. So many new releases to choose from and my favorite part is seeing everyone‘s choices and adding them all to my TBR! I know camp is always fun no matter what we read together this summer! Can‘t wait! 🏕️

PHOTO CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If there were more stars in the regular system, I would've used them. This book ripped my heart out, stuffed it with emotions, and shoved it back in. I'm so sad to be leaving this series but so satisfied with the ending. I've developed such a strong attachment to these characters and this story, I know it will stay a favorite of mine for a long time.
