Wow… the things this girl has been through 💔 her mother did so many horrible and unspeakable things to her… and the industry didn‘t do much better! I‘m glad she dead too and that sounds awful, but IYKYK! The last line gives me hope that she‘s ok… I will definitely be following her story. I listened to this one in 2 days! 5th audiobook!

I loved this book! Maryam and her family are traveling to Toronto for her sister's wedding, and Anna is traveling to Toronto to meet her boyfriend's family and spend Christmas with them. They're on the same flight, and a blizzard causes them to have to land in Snow Falls, instead. Stuck for who knows how long before flights can get out again, Maryam and Anna reevaluate what's really important to them.

Zapata is the queen of slow burn love stories and this book proves it. Loved the characters and the plot. The story developed organically and I thought the dialog really worked. 4.5⭐️

I loved The Fallen Men series by this author. This is another series about anti-heores and I liked it but not as much as the other series. The plot was good but I didn't get as deeply connected to these characters as I wanted to. 3.5⭐️

I liked this one a bit more than the first book. The ending was a bit too dramatic for me though.
The writing also felt more like the Cemetery of Forgotten Books in this one. 💕

This book has mixed reviews and upon finishing I get it. It is all character driven and it is a slow moving story. It reminded me of Bridges of Madison County expect it was longer. I thought the author did a decent job of describing life on the road with a rock band, the paparazzi, crazy fans, etc. In my opinion, this could have been better if the story was condensed. Still enjoyed. 4⭐️
