pickA really interesting read, it covers her childhood and early stage career. I'm looking forward to reading the follow up book that covers her movie career (Mary Poppins is one of my all time favourite movies!)

so-soThis book was alright, but nothing too inspiring or interesting. It was nice that Andrews read it herself. Her voice is a delight. Otherwise I might have thumbs downed it.

pickI grew up watching and loving Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music but knew nothing about her or her life. Her difficult childhood, feeling responsible for caring for her family, and her path to success are hard to imagine at times. I‘m looking forward to the next book, Home Work.
This also sent me down the YouTube rabbit hole lol Julie and Carol Burnett together are a lot of fun. Definitely look them up.
