#FeistyFeb I don't have anything for #InternationalCrime or #ArtDeco but this is a book I've been wanting to read for #AustralianAuthors. My #BestOfFebruary is also nonexistent bc I gave 1 star to everything I read ☹️#bookrut

#FeistyFeb #InternationalCrime The hero in this book has ties to the Italian mob. #romansty
I think a lot of others used this for #InternationalCrime as well, but it's just such a good book. #FeistyFeb
#feistyfeb day 25: #internationalcrime
Oops I'm playing catchup today. I guess I was too involved in putting up next month's challenge post yesterday!
I love how more crime/mystery/detective fiction is available fr international writers these days.
From top right: Japan, Japan, Southeast Asia (begins w Malaysia), Singapore, China, Laos (although the writer is British and the main character is the chief coroner)
I borrowed this from the library a while back and really enjoyed it. Two bodies wash up on Sweden's shores, but the clues lead back to Latvia. Definitely an #internationalcrime. #day25 #feistyfeb
#feistyfeb I'm going a little left of field with #internationalcrime . This #nonfiction book is about the various prisoners kept within England's greatest fortress. There are crimes (sometimes real, sometimes more a crime of being the wrong person at the wrong time), and England is international for this Australian (although I do have relatives there!).
I don't have a lot of crime novels- I miss too much sleep trying to find out what happened! But this #internationalcrime novel comes very highly recommended. Plus snark. On top of Mount TBR. #feistyfeb
I'm usually not a fan of #internationalcrime novels but Lizbeth Salander is definitely my kind of strong female protagonist. She's smart as hell and can kick ass. Loved the 1st book in the series. The 2nd could have used some editing. The 3rd was better. The 4th was written by someone else since Stieg Larsson passed away before finishing it. Not my favorite but it was still fun to return to Lisbeth's world.
