I am, as Mrs Bookwomble put it, identifying the fuck out of these bees! 🐝🔍🤓
This is a Garden Bumblebee. Other visitors to the flowering shrub in our back garden have been the Honeybee, of course, a Common Carder Bee and a Red-tailed Bumblebee. The tagged guide has 28 of the most common of the ~250 British bee species, and it's enriching my lazy day in the sun 🌞
Also had a few Common Blue butterflies for variety 🦋

Freespirit My husband and I have an organic Macadamia farm and we now have bees. I made the first batch of honey recently to give as Christmas gifts. It really is amazing how they work together to make honey. I love watching them at work! Glad you like bees too😊 6y

Bumblebees: Behaviour, Ecology, and Conservation | Dave Goulson

My 2 bumblebees at their music class. Trying to focus on the positives as this week is determined to drag me under. I was assaulted while walking into town today. A man thought it acceptable to hit me on the shoulder as he walked passed. It's all been passed on to the police as I had a witness. Just waiting for a call back.
Just want this week done.

laurieluna @readingjedi Yeah. When we confronted him he blamed mental health issues. Not an excuse to hit people. It triggered me so bad I sat and cried at my 1 year olds toddler group. @Cathythoughts thank you. I'm just about done with October now! 6y

laurieluna @DivineDiana Yeah, thats what I wanted. I initially left my name and number at the primary care centre where he was heading so that his mental health worker could contact me but he didn't, thats why I reported it an the police stepped in to get him the help he needs. 6y

Jess7 Oh gotcha! @SilversReviews - a lot of people are into raising bumble bees these days. I could never do it. Too afraid of getting stung. Makes me think of a book I recent read where one of the main characters gets stung on her eye ball when her husband raises bees as a hobby!
