Pickpick

Part philosophy. Part biography. Part autobiography. This definitely got me thinking.

TheBookHippie Everytime I‘m out at night or alone or in situations that I could be in danger. Men never think this way ..EVER. Anytime you give an opinion, are in places of authority you have to be aware of your sex. Absolutely ridiculous. 5d

TheBookHippie Autonomy over our lives and bodies. And to be free from harm from men. In other words 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 I can‘t see it happening but I‘d like to be closer to it. 2w
GingerAntics @TheBookHippie oh thank God! I thought I was the only one who thought it pretty much was never going to happen. At least not here in the states. 2w

TheBookHippie Yes. I‘ve had to survive. So lesser of the evils. 2w
GingerAntics @TheBookHippie sadly, I feel like “lesser of evils” or “best out of all the bad options” is a staple in women‘s lives in ways they aren‘t in men‘s? 2w

TheBookHippie Yes. Things don‘t even occur to them. However I‘ve know very selfish women. Can‘t say I know selfless men 😅 2w
GingerAntics @TheBookHippie right? I feel like anyone can be selfish, but men tend to be more prone to it, but also blind to how they are being selfish because it‘s “allowed” or “okay.” 🙄 I also believe anyone can be selfless, but I think it comes more naturally to women, as we are expected to be such from a very young age. 2w
GingerAntics @TheBookHippie I remember a time when I was 8 or 9 years old. My cousin (who was a year older than me) had his glasses in his pocket (no case, just the glasses). We were all wrestling and his glasses got damaged. My mother would not stop yelling at me and blaming me, no matter how much my aunt said this was on him because he knew better than to have them in his pocket like that and he was older than me. 2w
TheBookHippie @GingerAntics exactly!!! That‘s it in a nutshell!!! Pun intended!! 5d
