pickI was entertained by this unbelievable storyline so I‘m giving it a slow pick. I was intrigued with the Malcolm Bannister and Quinn Rucker storyline, but the flow of the story took a hit at midpoint with a story within a story and - I wanted back to the original plot. It came together but I‘d have liked it more if the sub-story had been significantly reduced. ↓

jlhammar What a sweetheart! Wow, that‘s a lot of JGs! Did you ever read B.J. Novak‘s story collection, One More Thing (2014)? One of stories, The something by John Grisham, was pretty funny. You might appreciate it. 2y
marleed @jlhammar oh I‘ll look for it - it would be fun to read. In 2018, in some casual conversation about books after noting I liked JG, as sister asked which were my favorite. I was clueless - because they kind of melt together. So I decided I‘d read or reread all of them. This complete stack (minus one received as a gift) was thrifted! So now its against my book rules to be the original owner of a JG book! 2y
